With the Association, C.E.B.A. shares the drive to promote and spread the knowledge, the study and the application of automation to industry in Italy, Automation is, from both, considered in its technological, economic and social aspects and thus contributes to the growth of technical culture in the country and its integration in the national context.

Industry 4.0: men, machine and optmisation

The approach of companies all over the world to the new era of Industry 4.0 goes towards automation and the use of intelligent technologies that, when applied to machinery, optimize work thanks also to the greater availability of information and data.

The company network becomes a dialogue both between machine and machine, and between production line and operator.

The human factor in Industry 4.0

Considering the promised (and maintained) benefits of technological innovations, the risk is to put aside man, as operator.

It is undeniable that the productivity of machines, in some cases, proved to be superior to that of humans, but it is equally important to observe how, even in a highly digitalised context of industry, the human role is essential.

Indeed, the technology of machinery oriented towards Industry 4.0, connectivity and automation, facilitates the task of the operator, who acquires tools and processes that simplify and make his work more productive.
